SVAA offers youth football and cheer programs to boys and girls throughout the Santa Cruz County. The programs are designed to provide a safe and fun environment in which the boys and girls of our community can learn the game of football as well as fundamental values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, self-esteem and discipline. The programs are headed up by an enthusiastic and committed organization. We also have a dedicated and knowledgeable coaching staff with long ties to county wide athletic programs at all levels. Together our primary goal is to provide the best football and cheer program in Santa Cruz County. SVAA has been running football and cheer programs in Santa Cruz County for many years.

Falcons to Face E. Palo Alto & Hayward

Our Falcon Cheerleaders did us proud this weekend as well at the annual Cheer Competition. We had 3 squads perform: Mascots, Jr. Pee Wee and Pee Wee. All three teams performed extremely well. Our JPW Cheerleaders won Bronze and our Pee Wee Cheerleaders took Silver. WAY TO GO GIRLS!

Falcon Alumni

Kicker Jasper Forest hit a 35-yard field goal to give Scotts Valley High's football team the lead late in the fourth quarter, and the Falcons held on to win their home opener, 10-7 over Leland High on Saturday. It was a clutch performance by Forest, a newcomer to the sport. He was playing in just his second high school football game ever. "It's a pretty amazing feeling," the Scotts Valley senior said after the game, surrounded by his congratulatory teammates. Forest attempted two field goals in his first game last week against Alice, Texas. One was blocked and he nailed the other in a tough 42-27 Scotts Valley defeat. But his soaring kick through the uprights on Saturday essentially clinched the game and provided a huge boost for the Falcons after their rough start to the season.
